Welcome

The Ichnology Research Group (IRG) is a multidisciplinary research team of students and professors from the University of Alberta and Simon Fraser University. This group is led by Dr. S. George Pemberton.

 

Purpose


The main research focus of the IRG is in the fields of Ichnology and Neoichnology. Investigation focus on animal-sediment interactions, reservoir permeability enhancement, and paleogeographic interpretations/ reconstructions.
